Tidewater Townhomes was acquired by Silver Street in 2004 as part of an early expansion into the Southeastern region of the United States. The property consists of 104 Section-8 multifamily units that underwent a substantial transformation through the course of a rehabilitation that remains to date the most expensive per-unit rehab Silver Street has undertook. Alongside energy-efficient upgrades and facade replacements, Tidewater had a complete changeout of management, a necessary step in curbing the prior crime issues, which together today makes it one of the biggest success stories in the Silver Street portfolio.
