Palmetto Place Apartments, which was acquired by Silver Street in 2008, consists of 165 units of affordable multi-family housing. The acquisition was completed in the backdrop of the financial crisis, and was one of the first in the country to close utilizing a HUD 221(d)(4) bond structure. As part of the acquisition Silver Street committed substantial funds to a robust renovation that saw, among other improvements, the creation of a community center within the property.
