Brookwood Apartments, located in a rural setting of Roxboro, North Carolina, was Silver Street Development’s first acquisition in North Carolina. A variety of modernization efforts, including handicapped accessibility, was performed in 2001. This project offers a wide selection of unit sizes for its multi-family population. This expiring use Section 8 project has been preserved through tax exempt financing, with Silver Street’s commitment of 30 years via the LIHTC program.
